In 2014 the companies of the Altai Territory produced 57 liters of vegetable oil and 134 kg of cereals per resident of the region
The companies of food and processing industry of the Altai Territory renewed their historical maximums in the production of cereals, cheese and cheese products, vegetable oil, meat half-finished products and whey powder in 2014. The index of industrial food production was 104.1% in 2013.
Altai food industry workers produced more than 57.6 liters of vegetable oil per resident of the region, or about 1 liter for every Russian. Millers also provided for each resident of the Altai territory 134.1 kg of cereals in 2014 (on average consumer of Russia - 2.1 kg).
For certain types of whole-milk products and butter it is working at peak production for the post-Soviet period. For example, last maximum of the cheese production exceeded by 10 tons.
