Production of lecithin will begin in Barnaul
In 2016, Altai plant “AgroSib-Razdolie” will open a new line of the lecithin production for the food industry. Production will be organized in Siberia for the first time.
“Lecithin - a byproduct of the refining of soybean and sunflower oils. The cost of the project - 80 million rubles. We'll get our own phosphatide concentrate (lecithin), which is used in the food industry,” said CEO of the company Vladimir Anipchenko.
The new line will be opened in February 2016. At the same time, the company will produce 1.8 tons of concentrate per day based on sunflower and 3.6 tons - based on rape, informed the official website of the Administration of Altai Krai.
Lecithin is used for the manufacturing of chocolate, products with chocolate glaze, spread, margarine, bakery and confectionery products, food products for children.
