Gross domestic regional product is projected to rise up to 11% in Altai Krai

On 11th November, Deputy Governor, Head of Department of Economy and Investment of Altai Krai Nikolay Chinyakov said that in the years 2017-2019 the growth rate of Altai Krai’s economy will exceed the national average.


“The gross domestic regional product will grow by 7.6% in the baseline scenario and by 11.1% - by the optimistic,” he explained. At the same time Nikolay Chinyakov said that GDP is projected to rise by 5.4% in Russia in the same period.


The tendency of “priority growth rates” will be enforced by the development of “well-developed directions and projects." Besides, considerable attention will be paid the export-oriented companies, reports“Interfax”.
