DOC22: A large complex for the production of MDF boards is being prepared for launch in the Altai Territory
In the Altai Territory in the autumn of this year they plan to launch the largest woodworking production in Siberia in the production of MDF plates - Pavlovsky Woodworking Plant LLC (Pavlovsky DOK). According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Altai Territory, this will be a non-waste production of a full cycle - from logging to its full processing. Waste wood and logging will be used as a raw material for the production of fibreboard.
- A breakthrough project is being implemented by the forest holding company Altayles and is regarded by experts as a new stage of development in forestry and forestry in the region. The release of MDF plates will serve as an impetus for the development of production facilities for its processing: new furniture and door manufactures, the production of finishing materials and other demanded products. The plant will close the demand for MDF and HDF boards in the market of Siberia, the Far East, Central Asia. The implementation of this import-substituting project will not allow purchasing products in Europe or China, but to manufacture and sell it both within the country and for export, which will positively affect the investment attractiveness of the region, the province's Ministry of Nature says.
At the moment, the construction of the fourth unit is being completed, in which the system of grinding chips and the resin production department will be located, the foundation for the stock of imported wood chips has been poured, silos for the storage of chips have been built, internal finishing works in the plant's premises are being completed. Also, the installation of supporting metal structures of the refiner is completed. The installation of equipment (fan cooler, forming line, grinding line and other) has begun. The compressed air system was assembled by specialists from Germany who also conducted training for employees.
Reference: Production complex Pavlovskiy DOK occupies 54 hectares of land, shop buildings are located more than 30 thousand square meters. The scale of production will allow to organize about 200 new jobs, which will favorably affect the employment of the population. After reaching the designed capacity, the output of the commodity output of the plant will be 3.3 billion rubles a year. Plates will be produced by standard technology by hot pressing of wood fiber, mixed with a binder based on urea-formaldehyde resins.
Pavlovskiy DOK is equipped with a powerful central power unit that will generate thermal energy for technological purposes and heating of buildings. As fuel, they will also use chips, sawdust, and felling residues.
Recall that the implementation of a major investment project "Pavlovsk Dock" worth about 6 billion rubles began in late 2016. It is planned to produce fibreboard (MDF) with a volume of up to 250 thousand cubic meters per year. As a second stage, the possibility of producing laminated boards, which are obtained as a result of facing polished plates with films based on thermosetting polymers, is considered. Films are characterized by their aesthetic, dust-repellent properties and increased resistance to mechanical influences and moisture.
