Business projects aimed at improving the production, expansion at catering food menu using Altai products, wild plants (fruits and berries), Altai herbs, creating culinary brands, reflecting the identity of the local cuisine will be considered this year, as part of the grant of the Governor of the Altai territory in the economy. To do this, in the line of the contest «Tasty map of Altai» allocated a separate nomination «Gastronomic uniqueness».
Due to purposeful work to promote local food, ingredients, unique regional cuisine in the cafes and restaurants of the region, road service objects formed additional pages in the menu, including gourmet brands using ingredients and wild plants are specific to individual territories of Altai region.
In item catering are produced bakery products using ingredients and additives from Altai local origin (flax seeds, corn flakes, potato flakes, sunflower kernel, wheat bran, pumpkin seeds, sour cream, cheese, onions).
Applications for participation in the competition for grants established by the Governor Alexandr Karlin, taken from 23 June to 31 July 31, 2014.
Since 2011 Governor grants of Altai territory in the economy of the region are available to business entities engaged in socially significant business projects. During the reporting period, the winners of the two nominations involving the development of women and rural entrepreneurship recognized 21 small and medium-sized businesses. State financial support provided to them by the total amount of 19 million 200 thousand rubles.
