"Makfa" will begin processing of buckwheat in the Altai region in 2015
Chelyabinsk "Makfa" completes the first stage of construction of the new plant in the Troitsky District of Altai Territory. It is planned to start production of primary processing of buckwheat by February 2015. According to the Head of administration of the Troitsky District Oleg Chigirev, in December it will be put into operation the weigh house, laboratory and several stock-rooms. The main objects are planned to launch in February 2015. In addition to processing, packing of products will be realized in the plant. Investors do not rule out that in the future it will be introduced the second stage of the plant, which will be focused on the production of pasta.
"We are going to process about 100 tons of cereals per day. Groats mill will produce all the cereals, which are presented in the Altai region. "Makfa" decided to place processing complex in close proximity to the source of raw materials, because the local agricultural economy - one of the main suppliers of cereals", said PR-manager of “Makfa” Elena Zhelezova.
As noted Zhelezova, cereals will be sold out outlets of Altai Territory. In addition, the products will be available in some regions of Russia and abroad. "Federal company has been working with our district about 20 years; it buys buckwheat, oats and peas here. Investors considered that the building of processing complex is really profitable here. The Troitsky District is located between two major cities - Biysk and Barnaul. Furthermore, there is federal highway and railway. Also, most suppliers of cereals are concentrated in the areas bordering with the Troitsky District ", said Chigirev.
