In January, an official delegation of the Altai Territory has worked in India at the International Exhibition and Economic Forum "Vibrant Gujarat 2015". The participants of the trip bring the first results. The delegation consisted of the Deputy Director of "Belokuriha Resort" Oleg Akimov. According to him, one of the main purposes of the trip was to study the market of sanatoria and health services and health resorts in India in terms of the possibility of applying certain techniques in sanatoriums of Belokuriha.

Oleg Akimov held negotiations with leaders of health centers. "Analysis of the Ayurvedic institutions showed similarity of water and manual procedures of Indian and Russian medical offices. At the same time the visiting of Ayurvedic Village NIMBA showed that it is possible to learn the work of Indian doctors on an integrated approach and individualized treatment for each patient”, he said.

Also the landscape design of the territory aroused the representatives of the Altai Territory interest. Some elements may be recreated in the construction of the resort "Belokuriha-2." "With the administration of Ayurvedic Village business relations were established and an agreement for further visiting of the Altai resort in order to develop the concept of "Indian village in the Altai region", it is confirmed in the Department of International and Interregional Relations.

Reference: International Exhibition and Economic Forum "Vibrant Gujarat 2015" took place from 8 to 13 January in Gandhinagar. The Altai region was represented by a delegation led by the Deputy Governor Alexander Lukyanov. The aim of the trip was to expand markets of Altai products, to search for potential business partners, to establish new and strengthen existing trade and economic relations, and the expansion of cooperation at the interregional level.
