Despite the difficult situation in the meat market of the Krai, producers of the region managed to keep index of production in 2013. Thus, according to operative data of Altaykraystat, for the period 2014 index of industrial production of the meat industry was 100.0% compared to 2013.
A number of enterprises continue to actively develop the areas of production of functional products, sausage products for baby feeding from 3 years.
Over the past year enterprises of the region were working on the expansion of their own trade outlets and shops. In 2014, meat producers have opened more than 20 departments and branded retail stores.
In 2015, the main tasks of the meat processing companies are reduction in production cost, lowering costs of products, improving the competitiveness of manufactured products, preservation and increasing meat production.
