Korean delegation appreciated the Altai milk, yoghurt and cheese
On 11th August in the Department of Ensuring International and Interregional Relations of Altai Krai there was a meeting of representatives of Gangwon Province headed by the Director of the International Relations of the Department of Global Business, Investment and Commerce of the Administration of Gangwon Province Ahn Jin-Seok with the Deputy Governor of Altai Krai Vitaliy Snesar and other representatives of the bodies of executive power of the region.
Within the framework of the business visit the Korean delegation visited the largest milk processing company of the region - Barnaul Dairy Plant. CEO of the company Alexander Balushkin showed to guests the plant of receiving and processing of milk, filling and packaging of finished products. The Head of the Dairy Plant told about modernization of production facilities and showed cheese and cottage cheese plant, which was launched late last year.
Representatives of the delegation tasted milk, yogurt, kefir, hard and processed cheese, cottage cheese, cheese, glazed cheeses and others. The cottage cheese and products based on it - curds, glazed cheeses, and cottage cheese desserts aroused special interest in the Korean delegation.
Guests from South Korea showed samples of dairy products produced in their province - milkshakes and cheeses, informs the Department of Altai Krai of food, processing, pharmaceutical industry and biotechnologies. On 12th August, the delegation visited the maral breeding industry and enterprises specialized in velvet antler processing - the company "Pantoproekt" and maral breeding farm in the Nikolskoye village.
Reference: In March 2015 the Administration of Altai Krai and Gangwon Province of South Korea have signed a memorandum of trade and economic, science and technology, and cultural cooperation. At the meeting the parties discussed the development of a plan of joint actions for the implementation of this document. Representatives of Korea suggested including in the plan the business visits of delegations, participation of the parties in the trade and exhibition events, the development of cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, exchange tours of Altai groups and groups of Gangwon Province. By the end of 2015 it is planned to develop and sign the plan, which will consult interests both of Altai Krai, and Gangwon Province.
