Governor Alexander Karlin: “220 representatives of domestic agricultural machinery industry want to participate in the All-Russian Field Day”

The Head of the region held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Elena Astrakhantseva. She confirmed the intention of the Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev to visit the All-Russian Field Day, which will be held in Altai Krai in July. “Minister of Industry Denis Manturov has also very interested in ​​the idea of Field Day at two ministries,” she said.


At the meeting issues of event preparation were discussed. “Previously, we held regional Field Days, and last three years this event has been held in the format of the Siberian Federal District, and we have called it the Day of Siberian Field. We will try to do our best to make the All-Russian Day program really interesting and informative. This is the first attempt to hold such event in the All-Russian scale in the territory east of the Urals”, said Alexander Karlin.


It was noted that the All-Russian Field Day was not held in the country for 8 years. The Head of the region said that Altai Krai is actively conducting the preparations for the event. “We have a very worthy agropark outside Barnaul. We purposefully improved and developed this area year after year,” pointed out Alexander Karlin.


Total area of agropark is ​​about 9 hectares. Today, there are conference rooms, a press center. The exposition area for the exhibition of agricultural machinery is over 7 hectares. One of the benefits of agropark - a large-scale demonstration field, which has areas for introduction of  tillage, sowing, forage, hay making machines, as well as seeding machinery. Siberian agropark is equipped with all necessary engineering infrastructures (water and power supply, access roads, parking), participants will have the opportunity to use IT technology on open access.


According to Alexander Karlin, more than 220 agricultural companies from 24 regions of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan were accredited for participation in the All-Russian Field Day.


Delegations from almost all the country's regions plan to visit the exhibition. The event will bring together representatives of the relevant agencies, FASO Russia, heads of regions, Governing bodies of agroindustrial complex of the subjects of the Russian Federation, branch associations,  heads and specialists of agricultural companies, farm enterprises of the country, representatives of the largest industrial companies, including foreign ones.
