In Barnaul, the reconstruction of another object of tourism and recreation cluster “Barnaul - the mining city” completed

The reconstruction of the bridge across the Barnaulka at Lenin Prospekt is nearing completion.

There is now the final work on the improvement of stairs, which will be on four sides and the area under the bridge, where pedestrian areas with fences from the river’s side will be.

Asphalt works will begin next week. Road pavement will be laid with using cool pavement and technologies to carry out the work in any weather, including at low temperatures and the precipitation.

Stationary and architectural lights will be also set up on the bridge. The distinctive feature of the object will be the construction of the bas-reliefs, which reflect the historical landmarks of the city, which will be located on granite fences.

Modernized bridge will be opened in November.

It should be reminded that the project “Barnaul - the mining city” is realized within the framework of the federal target program “Development of domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation (2011-2018).” The development of the project infrastructure has already attracted 691 million rubles, and five investment projects are currently implementing. In 2015, private investments were in the amount of 900 million rubles in cluster, this year it is planned to attract 1.2 billion rubles. 30 agreements with investors were concluded at more than 3 billion rubles and, according to estimates, private investments could reach 11 billion rubles.

At a meeting of the State Council Presidium “On measures to improve the investment attractiveness of sanatorium and resort complex of the Russian Federation” it was noted that the success of the project “Barnaul - the mining city” was an argument for the President Vladimir Putin to extend the federal program of tourism development.
