Altai companies discussed cooperation with colleagues from Korea
Altai Krai will deliver sea buckthorn oil, buckwheat and other eco-friendly products to the Republic of Korea.
During the period from 13 to 16 October the International Trade and Investment Exhibition GTI-2016 was held in Sokcho, the Republic of Korea.
The delegation included five Altai companies: Pharmaceutical Factory “Galen”, Altai Tea Company, “Altai-Zanddorn”, “Altai Visterra” and “Altamar”.
Altai delegation was headed by the Deputy Governor of Altai Krai Alexander Lukyanov. The Head of “Altamar” Holding (velvet antlers reindeer products) Petr Sviridov discussed with the leadership of the company “Songisan” the possibility of opening a specialized store of Altai enterprises in Seoul. Several large South Korean companies were interested in procurement of sea buckthorn oil. The representative of “Pharmaceutical Factory Galen” Natalia Kislyak expanded the list of exporters of dietary supplements, cosmetics and concentrated extracts from the Republic of Korea. Alexander Lukyanov discussed with the Governor of Gangwon Province Choi Moon-Soon condition and possible areas of cooperation. Prospects for joint work were discussed in the areas of tourism, agriculture and culture. Preliminary agreements were reached on the organization of deliveries of Altai buckwheat to the Republic of Korea and the establishment of modern poultry farm in Altai Krai, which products will be exported to the CIS countries and China.
It should be recalled that over the past two years, companies of the region and Korean colleagues have concluded several cooperation agreements, providing for the supply of products and the conduct of joint research and development in the pharmaceutics.
