Altai enterprises producing children's goods will receive state support
Subjects of small and medium-sized businesses operating in the industry of children's products and services can attract the resources of state support as a priority.
This year, targeted financial support in the framework of the regional program “Support and development of small and medium-sized businesses in Altai Krai” was given five companies totaling 4.7 million rubles.
The region lays special emphasis on the development of children's products industry. Initiated by Governor Alexander Karlin the state program “Development of children's products industry in Altai Krai” for 2013-2015 and for the period up to 2020 promotes the achievement of these results. Its purpose - to create a competitive industry of products and services for children in Altai Krai. Through the implementation of the program production of children's food and non-food products rose by a third, as a whole.
Background information: Altai Krai is one of the first regions in Russia that involved in the national system of work on the creation of a diversified infrastructure of goods and services for children. The program includes support for investment projects on modernization and technical re-equipment in order to produce innovative, marketable products. Small business received financial support in the form of grants, subsidies and microloans. In 2015, 35 companies received such assistance. Through targeted measures of support businesses the region was able to organize manufacture of a wide variety of children's products. Enterprises of the region produce garment and textile products, baby food, toys, gaming equipment, furniture, goods for sports and recreation.
