Building of a large tannery are planning in the Altai territory
According to official website of the Altai territory, yesterday in Moscow held a working meeting of Alexandr Karlin, Governor of Altai Krai, Mikhail Shchetinin, Deputy Governor of Altai Region, Head of the Chief administrative department of economics and investments of Altai territory with Igor Surin, President of the group of companies «Russkaya kozha» and Igor Koskin, President of holding «Invest».
During the meeting they discussed the state of affairs in Russian leather industry and prospects of its development in the Altai region. Alexandr Karlin informed about the state of the leather industry in the region, the state of the resource base and enterprises for processing of raw hides. Governor of the region said that in addition to raw materials, processed in place, only in 2013 outside the region were exported 2.5 tons of cattle hides, 0.4 tons of wet-blue (chrome) tanning semi.
Igor Surin and Igor Koskin acquainted with the activities of the region's leaders of CJSC «Russkaya kozha» and expressed interest in cooperating with the Administration of Altai territory and construction enterprises in its territory.
