The development of cooperation in tourism between Altai territory and French region Franche-Conte are perspective
Current issues of development cooperation, promising areas of cooperation in the tourism and hospitality industry, food industry, education and culture discussed the Deputy Governor of the Altai territory Mikhail Shchetinin and head of the Franche-Conte delegation Joseph Parenen. At the meeting was also attended by members of the delegation of the Franche-Conte region. Mikhail Shchetinin told guests about the development in the region a special economic zone of tourist-recreational type «Sky blue Katun», gaming zone «Siberian moneta», auto-touristic cluster «Golden Gate» at the entrance to Byisk, tourist objects and construction in Belokurikha resort «Belokuriha -2». With special interest guests perceived information about maintained by Rosturizm project for renovation of the Barnaul historic city and creation of tourist infrastructure, said in the Chief administrative department of economics and investments of Altai territory.
Joseph Parenen said that he was pleased with the progress of cooperation in all areas. The participants exchanged views on cooperation in education and publishing projects, viticulture, cheesemaking, rural tourism.
Recall, the delegation of the Franche-Conte are actively working in our region. On the eve the representatives of the delegation met with Alexandr Karlin, the Governor of Altai territory. They discussed prospects for further cooperation of the regions. In the Altai State Technical University, the French guests and colleagues discussed about cooperation in microtechnology and nanotechnology. In the International College of cheesemaking in the Altai village was held a master class for the production of pickled cheeses. The guests visited the vineyards of «Altayspirtprom», discussed projections for harvest this summer, visited the areas for the planting of new crops. Also scheduled talks to supply Altai honey to France and visit the livestock complex in Pospelihinskiy district.
