Seventh Stolypin Conference will be held in August in Altai
The theme of the forum, which will be held in Barnaul on 18th-19th August, - “Regions of Siberia: opportunities for economic development.”
According to the Deputy Governor, the Head of the Main Department of Economy and Investments Nicholay Chinyakov, over the years, Stolypin Conference have been effective discussion platform on the most topical issues of development of Russia, Siberia, Altai Krai. In 2016 it is proposed to discuss the strategic directions of development of Siberia in the new conditions of the world economy, the possibilities of the eastern vector of development, including the use of the existing food potential of the region and possibility to promote products to target Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
The Conference brings together representatives of Russian regions, federal ministries and departments, governors, prominent scientists and experts, representatives of the expert community.
The subjects of the plenary and breakout sessions of Stolypin Conference will allow to consider various aspects of import substitution, investment development of areas, the export potential of Altai Krai and regions of Siberia, the formation of new transport and logistics corridors. Experts will state their view on the formation of healthy food market, perspective directions of rural tourism, social entrepreneurship, and others.
VII Stolypin Conference will be an important event confirming the high potential of economic development of Altai Krai, and it will be a platform, where the long-term prospects for cooperation will be discussed, emphasized in the Main Department of Economy and Investments.
